Excellent wine in Yakima.
Wine is important and is key to making any winery the top choice among the many. Great wine is what sets Yakima wineries apart. Freehand Cellars is a winery in Yakima that strives to check off all the boxes: great wine, great ambiance, and great service. Our wine is unique because all of Freehand Cellars Wines are single varietals. We are proud to share them with our guests because all of them are wonderful in their own way. We chose to have single varietal wines to showcase that a wine can be amazing with just a single type of grape. We hope that you will find that Freehands wine is superb in comparison to others.
Best views for a winery in Yakima.
The other wonderful thing about Freehand Cellars is that we are all about the ambiance. We often hear our guests say “We don’t want to leave because we love the vibe here” – then they end up saying for hours past their reservation because they enjoy what our place has to offer. Our winery is tucked in grape vines, fruit orchards, and the rolling hills of Yakima Valley. Our favorite place to enjoy a Yakima wine tasting is our “mountain view” lawn which overlooks Mount Adams and a peek of Mount Rainer. The lawn is equip with speakers that blast beach-vibe music all day long. When you step into Freehand Cellars, you may feel like you have been transported to a vacation paradise, which is why many people decide to hang out as long as possible. The tasting room also has one of the most beautiful tastings rooms in Yakima Valley. Freehand Cellars is a winery in Yakima that is proud to share it’s architecturally driven design and outdoor space.
Freehand Cellars was designed for a way to expand upon our artistic expressions. Winemaking, as with architecture, are our art forms. Whether we are selecting grapes or sketching a new concept everything starts with our hands. Our inspirations are hand drawn and poured into every bottle we produce. The owners of Freehand Cellars are architects and artists, which make every detail as important as the other. From bottles, to building design, to tables, and tissue papers – it’s all important to Freehand. The owners have hand drawn many of the labels which are meant to take you on a trip around the words with sketches of buildings that inspire our winemaking and design elements throughout the tasting room. The design and aesthetic of the tasting room is just as important as the wine, which makes Freehand Cellars a winery in Yakima that stands out among the many.
